I am making a ground breaking RE4 mod that completely changes the game and the location of where the game takes place. hey guys, for all the people who wanted the hookman, the fog version (or the umbrella version (yes its all the same stuff nobody ever noticed :O)) the RE4 betas.
At this point, I'd probably get all emotional and shit to be able to finally play the game I was probably most hyped for in my entire life, even though it'd be incomplete. Resident evil 3.5 - Hullucination Biohazard. I still hold out hope that the beta/alpha of this finds its way to the internet eventually like 1.5 did. New RESIDENT EVIL Inspired by John Carpenter’s THE FOG & More Director Johannes Roberts reveals TheHorrorMaster John Carpenters Assault on Precinct 13 and The Fog were big inspirations for his. All of that is why I still don't care for the current RE4 now, simply because of the promise of what it could have been, instead of the action focused game it basically morphed into. I think that was the most disappointed I'd ever been with seeing a game 'change' from it's inital showings. Then came that Game Informer reveal where they showed that all of that amazing stuff was scrapped and replaced with the Resident Evil 4 we have now. Resident Evil was my favorite game series back then, so seeing that perfect scary environment and creepy hookman had me literally counting down until it was suppose to release.
I still remember the first time I saw this trailer, after E3 2003 or 2004, I literally was glued to the screen and couldn't believe how amazing it looked.
